What I’m watching/reading: This is a True Story. I just watched Kumiko the Treasure Hunter, which is based on a sort of urban legend that sprung up about a real-life story. This is a True Story is a short documentary about the story behind the story.
Recently excited by: a great BLTA w/egg croissant sandwich @ Blackmarket Bakery in Costa Mesa. Gotta add the egg!
Weekly bits: Trader Joe’s Pork Belly…slice it up, torch ’em or put ’em under the broiler for just a bit (they’re already cooked), and throw them in your instant ramen.
