Why did I write that quote up there? Because just about any other fancy chocolate pales in comparison to this $1.19 (on sale!) bar of Japanese Kit Kat Bitter. A while ago, I read an interview with some chocolate expert and he declared Kit Kat Dark to be his favorite chocolate. I found some Kit Kat Dark when I was in London, and it was fantastic, but this…this is Tom-Cruise-jumping-up-and-down-on-Oprah’s-couch freaking awesome! The chocolate is rich but not sickenly sweet, full of flavor but not heavy. The wafer is a perfect balance to the chocolate. This is probably the best chocolate I’ve ever had! A+
